I can’t decide if a sunrise or a sunset in Lamar

I can’t decide if a sunrise or a sunset in Lamar Valley is my favorite. What I can say is that IF you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to experience both - do it! Don’t even question if the drive it worth it - just do it!

On my early morning drive through Lamar Valley is saw:
☀️ A gorgeous sunrise
🦬 Thousands Of Bison
🐺 26 Wolves Playing
🐻 A Grizzly In The Distance
🐃 A Moose Cow
🐾 Coyote Playing In Tall Grass

Needless to say - the drive is absolutely worth it and I will always tell everyone it is!

I’m having a zero motivation kind of morning so

I’m having a zero motivation kind of morning so here’s a beautiful @acadianps sunset with the pups (2nd photo 😉). One of my all time favorite things to do at Acadia is find a new sunset spot. Ya see, the thing about me is that I don’t want to have to fight for a spot among hundreds of other people to see the “best” sunset.

Is there a bad sunset? Nope, not in my book. I’d much rather have a partial or different sunset view to myself. We had this place completely to ourselves…and before the rain clouds rolled in (3rd photo) and even after they rolled in - it was perfect 💚😍💚 Just a soggy jog back to the 4 Runner for us 😅

📍Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee

Cades Cove is my favorite place (or one of them) at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I haven’t seen a bear in Cades Cove YET but driving through at sunset is one of my favorite times (heads up - there will be a ton of other people) but it’s worth the drive 💛🧡
